Kentucky Afield Radio is a public forum regarding issues that affect the hunting, fishing, trapping and boating sports in the Bluegrass State. Hosted by KY Fish & Wildlife and broadcasting veteran Russ Kennedy, the program provides expert information from department professionals, tips from well-known sportsmen and women, and gives emailers a chance to ask questions about wildlife and outdoor recreation-related subjects of particular interest. Kentucky Afield Radio is aimed at bringing the most up-to-date and accurate hunting, fishing, boating and outdoor recreation information direct to you from the real experts at the state fish and wildlife department. Tune in each week as Kennedy and his guests keep you current and correctly informed about what’s happening in Kentucky’s great outdoors. If you have a question or comment, contact show host Russ Kennedy: russ.kennedy@ky.gov or telephone 502-226-0077.
Kentucky Afield Radio i am in Louisville, Ky. What station can i listen in to hear this show. i listen to the the Jim straider show on 84 WHAS, but i would like to start hearing this show & would like to call into the show.
Thanks you,
Chris Ludwick
I live and hunt in bell co. And this year the rut was a bit late, why can’t they extend the deer season like that of zone one…. thanks
I would like to listen to your show locally. I do not understand why you would broadcast your show on Sunday evenings at the same time as the Jim Strader show on WHAS. There is a shortage of outdoor shows. Mr. Strader has had this time slot for over a decade and has a 50,000 watt station and an established audience. I am glad you have started this program and would like to listen to it on a local station and perhaps another time slot.
Hey Tim and Kentucky afield I love watching your shows and listening. I have grown up watching and listening. I have always been a outdoor person. I dreamed when I was little to make a outdoor show of my own, unfortunately that didn’t happen. So I do the next best thing and enjoy yours. I just want to thank you all for doing what you do, and if you ever need a camera man or some workers holler at me.
Thanks
