Honestly, do we need to spend over $1000.00 dollars to get a quality crossbow. The Stryker Strykezone 380 from Bowtech says, “I don’t think so.” This bow received Outdoor Life’s Editor’s Choice Award for 2012 with better ratings than crossbows made by Tenpoint, Darton, Carbon Express, Parker, Excaliber, Horton and more. This crossbow offers the highest level of performance driving bolts up to a blistering 380fps. It has a 19.5 inch axle-to-axle width with a modest 160 pound draw weight. It features an auto-flip magnetic safety that clicks into the safe position every time the crossbow is cocked thus preventing the accidental dry fire. It also features a Cease-fire secondary safety, soft-rubber shoulder pad and durable high quality Octane string and cables with precision engineered cams Bowtech has redesigned the limbs of this crossbow. There were some issues with the camo coated limbs of the original 380 cracking and splintering. This has been corrected in the 2012 model with all black limbs. Initial reviews on this bow were not good for this reason. The bow weighs under 8 pounds and comes in Optifade Concealment Forest Camo. The package includes crossbow, five 385 grain Stryker bolts, five arrow quick detach quiver, multireticle scope, detachable shoulder string, cocking aid, string stops and owners manual.
